The College of Veterinary Medicine at Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Veterinary Medicine at its Orange Park, Florida campus.
This faculty position includes responsibilities in teaching, curriculum coordination, research or scholarly activity, and service, with a particular emphasis on integrated course coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, integration, delivery, and assessment of pre-clinical and clinical veterinary coursework, contributing directly to the mission of the University and the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Position Responsibilities
Teach within the veterinary medicine curriculum
Provide leadership and coordination for assigned veterinary medicine coursework
Contribute to curriculum development, integration, and assessment
Foster student learning and professional development
Participate in research and/or scholarly activity
Engage in service to the profession, University, and community
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
Eligibility for licensure in the state of Florida
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree, residency training, or specialty board certification in a relevant discipline
Previous teaching experience in an academic setting
Veterinary clinical experience
Experience with course design, curriculum integration, or coordination
Demonstrated record of research, scholarly activity, or professional contributions
