Nebraska Equine Veterinary Clinic is a fivedoctor, general allequine practice located in Omaha, Nebraska. We serve a diverse equine population throughout eastern Nebraska and western Iowa and are widely recognized for providing dependable, ethical, and progressive equine veterinary care. We are seeking an enthusiastic, teamoriented Associate Equine Veterinarian who is looking for a longterm professional home with excellent worklife balance and strong collegial support.

Practice Overview
Nebraska Equine offers a full spectrum of equine veterinary services, including:
Sports medicine and lameness
Internal medicine

24/7 emergency care
Our patients include performance horses across nearly every discipline, as well as pleasure and backyard horses. Our ambulatory service radius is approximately 60 miles. Because of our large geographic service area, we have clearly defined parameters for afterhours emergency coverage.
We see both haulin and ambulatory cases. The clinic/hospital and trucks are modern, up to date, and fully functional to provide equine care, either on an ambulatory or hospital basis.
Strong support staff consisting of technicians, veterinary assistants, office personnel, practice software and AI to support veterinarians completing daily tasks and record-keeping.
Position Details
Fulltime or part-time Associate Equine Veterinarian
Schedule: Monday–Friday typically, but there is flexibility with part-time
Emergency oncall shared evenly among five doctors
Combination of ambulatory and haulin/hospital cases
Mentorship available and encouraged, tailored to your experience level
This role is well-suited for veterinarians who value quality medicine and teamwork in an equine practice setting.
