Aloha Veterinary Center is home to three dedicated veterinarians and a talented team of more than 20 support staff, including credentialed veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, kennel assistants, receptionists, and administrative professionals. Together, our compassionate and highly skilled team provides comprehensive care for every pet’s needs—from laboratory diagnostics and radiology to surgery.

Located in Hilo, Hawai‘i, our newly constructed, state-of-the-art facility includes:
• Five exam rooms and two surgical suites
• An open central treatment area with dental table
• In-house laboratory and pharmacy
• Digital radiology and dental X-ray
• CO? laser and cold laser therapy

Company History

For over 30 years, Aloha Veterinary Center has been proudly serving the pets and families of Hawai‘i Island. Founded in 1993 by Dr. Trevor Rodrigues, our hospital was established to bring advanced, high-quality veterinary care to the Big Island—so that local families no longer needed to travel to Honolulu for complex medical or surgical cases.

Today, Aloha Veterinary Center is a full-service, community-focused practice known for our commitment to “Compassionate Pet Care.” Our team of dedicated doctors and support staff treat every animal that walks through our doors as a cherished member of our own ‘ohana. We take pride in providing professional, affordable, and personalized services while fostering a supportive, collaborative work environment for our staff.
