Ruskin Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinarian Medical Director to lead a talented team in a thriving South Shore community — and we're backing that opportunity with one of the strongest incentive packages in the region.
Incentive Package
- Up to $200,000 Base Salary
- 21% – 23% Production
- $50K – $75K Sign-On Bonus
- $5K Annual CE Allowance
- Path to Growth: Medical Director role or equity/joint venture opportunity
- DEA, AVMA, VIN, state license, and PLIT fees — fully paid

The Opportunity
- Provide medical leadership and ensure the highest standards of care
- Mentor and manage associate veterinarians
- Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold veterinary ethics
- Partner with the Hospital Manager on financial performance
- Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets
- Oversee staff and overall hospital operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a DVM
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university
- Active Florida veterinary license in good standing
- Commitment to high-quality medicine and the veterinary code of ethics
- Leadership mindset with strong communication skills
